Great news - We've added a new feature which allows you to create teams and have users take the profile with no slot requirements!
This functionality was specifically designed for professors/lecturers who prefer their students pay for their profiles individually while maintaining the ability to manage data and create team scatter diagram reports.
It's simple! If you're setting up your organization for the first time, make sure to select the "I want participants to pay for their own access" option.
You will be required to purchase at least one slot to complete the process.
You do not need to buy more than one slot - as long as you require users to pay for their own access, your team(s) will support unlimited participants.
No problem! We have you covered here too. You can require any new or existing team participants to pay for their own access.
When creating a new or editing the settings of an existing team, make sure to slect the "Require users to pay to join the team" option.

Developing a student version of the Basadur Profile has been a long-term goal. Guiding our efforts, this quote was recently taken from a guidance counsellor at a local high school: "Simplexity Thinking and the Basadur Profile are certainly applicable to the cultures of business, government, education and healthcare, and exposure to it will enrich students’ learning prior to entering post-secondary studies. From a professional point of view, we are curious as to how Simplexity Thinking might be paired with fostering resiliency in students (i.e. seeing problems/failure as an opportunity for growth and learning rather than an impediment.)"
This led us to undertake a research project to create a version of the Basadur Profile in language suitable for younger people. We have tested it from 7th grade up to 12th grade and it works well. This student version should be valuable to teachers and guidance counsellors in helping students value themselves no matter what their problem solving styles may be and to follow a process, a shield to help them work their way out of difficulties they encounter in daily life and become self-sufficient. It’s also a very valuable tool for insights into their unique thinking style that may help guide them as they pursue a post-secondary major and eventual career.
As always, we welcome any feedback on this Student version of the Profile and will continue to strive to keep it relevant and current in the years ahead.
It's easy. When your student is creating their account, instruct them to select the option for English - Student (Grades 7-12) from the Language Preference dropdown. That's it!
Your student can switch to the student version anytime during or before completing the profile. They can update their selection using the language dropdown tool found at the top right of the page.
